A New App Takes Your iPhone Camera to a New Level

Snapturelabs released Snapture 2.0, an advanced camera application for the jailbroken phones running iPhone 2.0 software.  It can be downloaded using Cydia or Intaller app on your jailbroken phone.

           

Notable features:

• Multitouch zoom
• 4 Color modes
• QuickView (paid feature for $7.99) - ability to manage photo roll right from Snapture software
• Delay timer
• Very clean interface (10 out of 10 for Interface - app workflow, icons, position)
• Available in 9 languages

Free version of Snapture 2.0 is ad-supported.  You can see an example of an ad in the screenshot below.  Ads change every time you go to different options of the program; we wish that they would change less frequently.

Overall opinion:

If you are running a jailbroken phone with iPhone 2.0 software, Snapture 2.0 is a much better replacement for the stock Camera app.  Is Snapture another reason to jailbreak your iPhone?  It might be... But more people could be convinced if it had video recording capabilities.

The Snapture team promised surprises with the 2.0 release and they delivered.
