British Airways App usage soaring on iPhone

It has only been released for a short while, but British Airways' BA Flights App (free, App Store) has become a valuable source of flight information for nearly 3,000 users around the world per day, according to a Travolution report.

The digital travel companion features up-to-date arrival and departure times, detailed flight information and a link to BA.com, where users can book flights or check-in online.

British Airways travelers are fortunate to have access to such a handy App; it may be a matter of time before other airlines develop similar programs for their passengers. (Or a third party creates a universal App featuring data from various airlines.)
